To ask the Secretary of State for 'Wales if he will make it his policy not to confirm the present acting head of the Ceredigion unit of the East Dyfed health authority in his post before the general election.

The appointment of a unit general manager is an operational issue for the East Dyfed health authority as employer.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give details of how the shadow trust board for the Ceredigion health unit was chosen; if he will list the members; and if he will give their appropriate qualifications.

There is no such board.
