To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has to move the school of infantry from Warminster to Brecon; and if he will make a statement.

The aim of restructuring the Army's training base is to make optimum use of existing sites by concentrating training at a smaller number of larger establishments. The locations for initial training in the Army remain under study and no final decisions have yet been taken.
