To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the number of young persons under 19 years of age in Scotland who are currently serving sentences, either at Her Majesty's pleasure or without limit of time; and if he will give details of the numbers and ages of those serving mandatory sentences and those serving discretionary sentences and the crimes for which they have received their sentences.

The total number is six. All were sentenced to be detained without limit of time. The details requested are as follows:
