To ask the Secretary of State for Health what are the numbers of empty beds at the Charing Cross hospital, Hammersmith; what is the current waiting list for operations in the North West Thames regional health authority; and if he has any changes planned for the hospital functions in the future.

The information requested for North West Thames regional health authority is given in the table. Information on the number of empty beds is not collected centrally. My hon. Friend may wish to contact Mr. Ian Dixon, the chairman of Riverside health authority, for details. There are no current plans for changes in the hospital functions.
