To ask the Secretary of State for Energy if the extension beyond the current 1998 limit for renewable energy generation projects qualifying for a premium price under the Non-Fossil Fuel Order, which he is negotiating with the European Commission will apply to wind energy-projects alone, or to all renewable projects qualifying under the Non-Fossil Fuel Order.

The Government wishes to see an extension of the fossil fuel levy for renewables beyond 1998, which would apply to all relevant renewable technologies, not just wind.
