To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what analysis his Department has made of the effectiveness of the military equipment available to Iraq during the Gulf war.

The equipment of the Iraqi armed forces included a wide range of systems of varying age, origin and effectiveness. Examination of recovered equipment in collaboration with the allies is still in progress.
