To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to his answer of 18 February, Official Report, column 108, when he expects the electoral registration figures for each parliamentary constituency in England and Wales to become available; and if he will make a statement.

Statistics relating to the 1992 electoral registers are still being collected by the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys from local electoral registration officers. An OPCS monitor containing all constituency electorate figures which have been received and verified will be published before the general election.
