To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what information he has on the proportion of male employees in Scotland who work part-time.

[holding answer 27 January 1992]: In September 1989, the latest date for which figures are available, 7ยท4 per cent. of all male employees in employment in Scotland worked part-time. This information comes from the 1989 Employment Department census of employment.
