To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make it his policy to consult civil service trade unions where decisions are taken affecting the employment of civil servants.

The Government already have a longstanding policy of consulting recognised Civil Service trade unions on decisions directly affecting the employment of civil servants.
