To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many applications for compensation under the scheme of compensation for loss of employment through civil unrest have been rejected since 1970 on the grounds that the applicant had not been employed for two years or more and what percentage of rejected applications such rejections represent.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave him on 3 February 1992 (Official Report, Vol. 203, col. 30).
