To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what efforts he is making to attract inward investment to Scotland from Hong Kong; and if he will make a statement.

[holding answer 26 March 1993]: Locate in Scotland, through the work of its officials in the United Kingdom and overseas, promotes Scotland as a location for inward investment from the Asia Pacific region including Hong Kong.
