To ask the President of the Board of Trade what steps he is taking to ensure that no illegally felled mahogany from Brazilian forests is imported into the United Kingdom.

To theextent thatcertain species ofmahogany arecovered by the convention on international trade in endangered species, Her Majesty's Customs is responsible for enforcing restrictions on imports from Brazil of any other source.
