To ask the President of the Board of Trade how many emergency standby vessels have been built in United Kingdom shipyards, for work in the United Kingdom offshore oil and gas industries, in each of the past five years; and what was the amount of financial assistance given by way of the European Community seventh directive on the shipbuilding intervention fund for the construction of each vessel.
