To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce legislation to control the use of the terms (a) constable, (b) constabulary, (c) police, (d) police officer, (e) police force and (f) police service.

No. It is already an offence under section 52(1) of the Police Act 1964 to impersonate a member of a police force with intent to deceive.
