Disabled Employees

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many and what percentage of officers in grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, respectively, and overrall in his Department are registered disabled people.

The Department employs 64 staff who are known to be registered and a further 34 who are known to have a disability without being registered. This represents some 1.5 per cent. of the total non-industrial workforce.These figures include one grade 6 and three grade 7s who are disabled but not registered.
