To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what steps she is taking to enable trade unionists and unemployed persons to receive training in the establishment and running of small businesses.

Training in the establishment and running of small businesses is available under the business start-up scheme, youth training, training for work and through our support of the Prince's Youth Business Trust.Trade unionists who meet the appropriate eligibility conditions can participate in any of these programmes.
