Mr. Barry Jones
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will meet Connah's Quay town council to discuss trunk road traffic congestion.
Sir Wyn Roberts
I can see no useful purpose in meeting Connah's Quay town council to discuss traffic congestion. The Department's publication "Roads in Wales—Progress and Plans for the 1990's," the 1993 supplement for which was issued in March of this year, details the plans for road improvements on trunk roads in Wales including north east Clwyd. One of the objectives of the roads programme is to reduce traffic congestion.
