Pupil-Teacher Ratios

To ask the Secretary of State for Education what are the current pupil-teacher ratios (a) in England and (b) in the Greater Manchester area.

The table shows the overall pupil-teacher ratios, at January 1992, for the maintained nursery, primary and secondary school sector in England and in the metropolitan districts of Greater Manchester (including self-governing state schools).
