To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations the Government have made to the Philippines Government about the killing of Mr. Chris Batan from the Bontoc office of Task Force Detainees of the Philippines on 23 February.

We are aware that this case has been highlighted by Amnesty International, and are seeking further information from the Philippine Government, who are investigating the circumstances of the murder.
