The project is being co-ordinated on the Department's behalf by the Policy Studies Institute (PSI). The PSI report that the pilots have made important developments in the dissemination of information to disabled people. A formal evaluation is being carried out by the Research Institute for Consumer Affairs, who will' report to the Department of Health after the project ends in 1994–95.
