To ask the Secretary of State for Health what reports from the small area health statistics unit have been published other than those relating to cancer.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply that I gave the hon. Member for Newcastle upon Tyne, Central (Mr. Cousins) on 8 February at column 74.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what was the annual budget for the small area health statistics unit for each year since 1987; what proportion of the annual budget for the small area health statistics unit is provided by her Department; how the remaining budget is provided; and how many small area health statistics unit investigations have resulted in prosecutions against employers.

The annual budgets for the small area health statistics unit (SAHSU) since 1987 and the proportions contributed by the sponsoring Departments are shown in the tables.
