To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he has any plans to raise the disregard level of earnings per day, over which an unemployed person would lose entitlement to benefit.

Unemployment benefit is not normally paid for any day on which a person earns more than £2. We have no plans to increase this daily earnings limit.
