To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will place in the Library a copy of the paper which has recently been prepared by C4 division within his Department which deals with questions arising out of the Obscene Publications Act and its enforcement.

I do not know to what document the hon. Member may be referring. My Department is currently examining ways in which the enforcement of laws dealing with obscenity may be improved. It is not the practice to publish advice to Ministers.
