To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is the number of registered clinical grading appeals for nurses and midwives which remains outstanding at (a) regional and (b) national levels.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is the total number of outstanding regrading appeals by nurses in the national health service.

The total outstanding clinical grading appeals at 30 April was 20,440; of these there were 15,020 outstanding at regional level, and 2,006 at national level, in England.
