To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what has been the budget and actual expenditure for each year since 1987 of the East End management unit and the East End Executive in Glasgow.

The East End Executive is an enterprise trust, established in 1990, and has received support from a variety of public and private sector sources, including Glasgow Development Agency. The East End management unit is, I understand, jointly funded by Strathclyde regional council and Glasgow district council and has also received some project funding from the Glasgow Development Agency.Since neither of these organisations is responsible to, nor directly funded by, the Scottish Office we do not hold the information that the hon. Member requests. I suggest that he might best take up his inquiries direct with them.
