To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will list the names of the centres licensed for artificial insemination by donor from 1 August 1991, but not now licensed.

The following donor insemination centres, operating at 1 August 1991, no longer hold licences:

  • Hartlepool general hospital
  • Mount Stuart hospital, Torquay
  • Royal Oldham hospital
  • The Heath clinic, London
The following centres were performing donor insemination on 1 August 1991, but currently hold only a storage licence:

  • Walm Lane clinic, London
  • Watford general hospital.
