To ask the Secretary of State for Health what is the total number of pharmacies in the west midlands; and how many dispense fewer than 2,000 prescriptions a month.

[pursuant to his reply, 14 May 1993, c. 590]: I regret that my previous reply was incorrect. It should have read:
The total number of pharmacies in the west midlands in 1991–2, the latest year for which figures are available, was 1,073. Of these, 227 pharmacies were dispensing fewer than 2,000 prescriptions a month.
