To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department on how many occasions during the last five years following the death of a child charges have been brought under (a) section 1 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 and (b) sections 18 and/or 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861; and what sentences, on conviction, were imposed in each case.
