Sunburst Missiles

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of the dangers posed to British forces in the Persian Gulf by Sunburst cruise missiles; and what discussions he has had with his Ukranian counterpart about the sale of the missiles.

We have no evidence that Ukraine has sold cruise missiles to Iran and the Ukrainians have publicly denied that they have made any such sale. My Department has not therefore discussed the matter with Ukraine.
