To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make a statement on the progress of his inquiries as to Welsh cereal yields.
Mr. David Hunt
I commissioned a study of the various cereal yields in Wales, on which I consulted the farming industry. I am now considering the findings of the study, taking into account the various representations made to me.
