To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with the chairman of the Cardiff Bay development corporation regarding the cost of the corporate relaunching and logo unveiling ceremony at the Mermaid theatre on 18 March.

None. Individual schemes within the approved marketing budget are a matter for the board of the Cardiff Bay development corporation, subject to the usual delegation arrangements with my Department.

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 29 March, Official Report, column 90, when he now expects to be able to release an officer to undertake the quinquennial review of the Cardiff Bay development corporation.

An officer has now been released and began work on the review on 17 May.
