To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultations he has had with South Glamorgan health authority in relation to the proposed inquiry into the running of the orthopaedic department at the Prince of Wales hospital, Rhydlafar.

The health authority informed the Department that it was instituting an inquiry into certain aspects of the running of the orthopaedic department at the Prince of Wales hospital, Rhydlafar.
