To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department on how many occasions in the last convenient 12-month period he has overturned the recommendation of the adjudicator at the immigration appellate authority to exercise his discretion outside the immigration rules.

The information requested is not available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. All recommendations made by adjudicators are, however, carefully considered in the light of the known facts.
