To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what plans he has to meet representatives of the employees of the Forestry Commission to discuss the Commission's future; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend has no plans to meet representatives of the employees of the Forestry Commission. He understands that representatives of all the trade unions concerned are being kept informed of matters affecting their interests through meetings with the Director General of the Forestry Commission.
