That this House takes note of European Community Document No. 11011/92 and the Supplementary Explanatory Memorandum submitted by the Department of Transport on 1st April 1993, relating to the future development of the Common Transport Policy; notes that the emphasis on completing the Single Market and ensuring that it works properly, on subsidiarity, and on the promotion of sustainable mobility consistent with the principle of freedom of choice, is in line with the Government's aims; and looks forward to considering further proposals arising from the White Paper in due course.
