To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the answer to the hon. Member for Islington, North (Mr. Corbyn) of 15 February, Official Report, column 33, if he will place in the Library copies of correspondence arising from the letter from the British embassy in Washington to Senators Hatfield, Exon and Mitchell in August 1992.

The British embassy in Washington received one letter from Senator Hatfield in reply to the letter sent to Senators Hatfield, Exon and Mitchell in August 1992. A decision to make this reply public would have to be for the sender of the letter.
