To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps the Government are taking to ensure the closure of all roads leading into Bosnia from the former Yugoslavia.

President Milosevic's undertaking to close the border between Serbia/Montenegro and Bosnia to all non-humanitarian supplies has resulted in a significant reduction of cross-border traffic, but some movement of goods continues. Talks are taking place in the United Nations on a draft Security Council resolution to deploy international border monitors. President Milosevic at present refuses to accept the presence of such monitors. The international community is intensifying pressure on him to change this position.
