To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) what proposals he intends to bring forward to amend section 5 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949 to take account of changes in sale, supply, possession and use of radio scanners;

also been issued by the directors of pharmaceutical services of the health and social services boards requiring hospital pharmacists to operate stock control arrangements which ensure detection and recorded disposal of outdated medicinal products.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what evidence he has of hospitals using drugs which are past their use-by date; and if he will make a statement.
