To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Aberdeen, South (Mr. Robertson) of 26 May, Official Report, column 589, what is the overall percentage level of tariff reduction available to P and 0 Scottish Ferries Ltd.

[holding answer 19 July 1993]: The percentage rates by which P and O may abate its commercial tariffs are set out in the table. The percentage rates applicable to the carriage of freight also apply to other bulk shipping companies that provide services to the Northern isles.
