To ask the President of the Board of Trade what progess has been made on conducting a job study with British Nuclear Fuels plc on the potential for alternative employment on the thermal oxide reprocessing plant site as recommended in the first report of the Environment Committee of Session 1985–86, HC 191, on radioactive waste; and if he will make a statement.
