To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects agreement to be reached to enable work to begin on both the Jubilee line extension and the Docklands light railway Lewisham extension.

Once negotiations have been satisfactorily concluded between LT and the parties involved with the financing of Canary Wharf on the basis of their contribution to the Jubilee line extension and once the Olympia and York Company comes out of administration, the Secretary of State will be able to authorise the start of construction.A private Bill enabling construction of an extension of the Docklands light railway to Lewisham received Royal Assent on 27 May.
