To ask the President of the Board of Trade what use he intends to make of consultants in the forthcoming nuclear review; and what safeguards he intends to institute in respect of auditors of companies in the nuclear industry who tender for consultancy contracts associated with the review to ensure no conflict of interest occurs.

No decisions have yet been taken on the scope, timing and format of the nuclear review, or on whether consultants will be employed. A further announcement will be made in due course.
