To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security in how many cases in each of the last five years civil enforcement action has been taken in either the county court or the sheriffs' court to enforce the recovery of social fund loans.

The information requested is not readily available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will provide a breakdown of the number of deductions made for the recovery of social fund loans from social security benefits other than income support, by benefit.
