To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will make it his policy to place a duty on local authorities to publish annually details of the proportion of local authority schools which are accessible to disabled people.

I have no plans to introduce such a duty. It is for each local education authority to decide what measures are required to fulfil its statutory obligations to ensure access to disabled people in schools. In addition, individual schools can publish details about their access facilities for disabled people in their prospectuses.
