To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will give details of all the successful and unsuccessful applications under the EC Leader and interregional co-operation—Interreg—programmes.

The information requested has been placed in the Library of the House. A total of 572 applications have been received under the Northern Ireland/Ireland Interreg programme. Of these, 265 have been successful, 281 unsuccessful and the remainder are still under consideration. Of the 61 applications considered under the Leader programme, four have been successful, 31 unsuccessful and the remainder are still under consideration.
