To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make it his policy to meet representatives of (a) the Disabled Living Foundation, (b) the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation, (c) the Keep Able Foundation and (d) Dial UK concerning the removal of VAT exemption from products designed for disabled people.

I regret that it has not been possible to provide a substantive answer before the summer recess. I shall write to the hon. Member shortly and place a copy of the letter in the Library.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the types of products designed for disabled people which have been removed from VAT exemptions since April 1992.
