To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is his Department's assessment of the number of home workers in Leeds, West.

It is estimated that in West Yorkshire some 19,000 people work at home as their main job, including those who are self-employed. Estimates of the numbers of homeworkers are not available for Leeds, West or other local areas.
