To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what recent discussions he has held with the chairman of the Scottish Arts Council concerning the role of the council in relation to the determination of such moneys which may come its way from the national lottery; and if he will make a statement;(2) what recent discussions he has held with the chairman of the Scottish Arts Council concerning the council's role and functions; and if he will make a statement;(3) what recent discussions he has held with the chairman of the Scottish Arts Council concerning

(a) the future size and composition of the membership of the council and (b) regional representation on the council; and if he will make a statement.
