To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list all the computer consultancies employed by his Department, since November 1991, the tasks for which they were engaged, and the total cost to his Department.

I have today arranged for a list of the computer consultancies employed by my Department since November 1991, together with and indication of the tasks for which they were engaged, to be placed in the Library of the House. The total cost to the Department was £5,878,713.
