To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will raise within the Trevi group the question of the sentence on the murderer of the English school teacher, Mrs. Fiona Jones.

Trevi is a forum for intergovernmental police co-operation between the member states of the European Community and does not discuss judicial matters. Sentencing remains a matter for each member stateā€”in this case, France.
